Monday, October 7
The first day was “Welcome Day”, in which the participants got to meet each other, discuss the programme of the study visit, share their ideas and expectations.

Tuesday, October 8
The second day was “Day of participants’ presentations and sharing Cultural Values”. After the lecture on Vision, Mission, Activities and Target Groups of the Lifelong Learning Studies in Adult Education by Assist. Prof. Hatice Erdemir we went on a city tour following some instructions that included visiting a few sites with historical and cultural value. The participants also had to answer some questions regarding their own countries in order to find out interesting facts about each culture. We spent the entire afternoon walking around, interviewing locals, taking photos, then uploading our feedback on a common page.
In the evening, each group held a short presentation about their findings and their experiences.
Wednesday, October 9
In the morning of the third day participants continued making their presentations and after lunch in the city center we visited the NGO ‘Yeniden Bir Yaşam Derneği’, a nonprofit, charitable and educational organization which is committed to social justice and focuses on protecting the rights of women.
Also we met local newspaper reporters for giving interview.
In the evening we visited the University season opening cocktail and enjoyed the concert ‘Melihat Gülses’.
Thursday, October 10
We started the day with discussing LLP concepts, Mobility types and Partnership. Then we visited the School of Health, School of Foreign Languages and School of Physical Education and Sports.
After passing a short cultural examination the participants were awarded with their Study Visit Certificates.
In the afternoon the participants visited a historical site of Sardes. On their way they were working hard on their group report.
Friday, October 11
We met with social partners & other university staff at breakfast and discussed our future cooperation.
